The Eurasian harvest mouse is a minute climbing rodent, measuring 5.5–7.5cm from nose to rump and weighing 4–11g. Reddish-brown upperparts contrast with a white or cream belly, and its eyes and ears are relatively large. A nearly body-length prehensile tail, broad hind feet and a partly opposable outer toe allow it to grip stems while the forefeet gather food (Wikipedia, Eurasian harvest mouse account).
Harvest mice live among tall grasses, reeds, sedges, hedgerows and cereal crops. They climb vertically with the tail acting as an extra limb and feed chiefly on seeds and insects, with nectar and fruit also taken. Females weave spherical breeding nests from grass leaves and fasten them above the ground to living stems; young develop their climbing grip before weaning (Wikipedia, Eurasian harvest mouse account). The species occurs in North and South Korea (Mammal Diversity Database v2.4).
